The Eastern Iowa Arts Academy is a private, nonprofit after-school arts organization created for elementary, middle, and high school students in the greater Cedar Rapids/Marion metro area. EIAA offers classes in art, music, drama, dance and creative writing. Classes at Madison are generally 60 minutes each and meet weekly between 3:45-4:45 p.m. Monday to Friday. EIAA’s multidisciplinary and multicultural arts program enhances the appreciation of the arts, strengthens performance abilities, provides quality after-school activities, and celebrates the rich diversity in our community.

EIAA’s slogan describes the organization best—Explore, Excite, Excel. EIAA provides exciting opportunities for students to explore the performing and visual arts and provide the skills needed to excel. Eastside Arts Academy offers a wide variety of classes in dance, drama, art, music, and writing.

Classes are free for students.
